How long is the quad bike tour in Madeira?
You can choose the classic 2h30 tour or the extended 4h tour. Both depart at 09:30 and 15:00 from our base in Porto da Cruz. In summer (April to August) there is also an 18:00 departure for the 2h30 tour.
Should I choose the 2h30 or the 4h quad tour?
The 2h30 tour is ideal for first-timers and busy days. If you love riding or think 2h30 is not enough, the 4h tour gives you 1h30 more on the trails, with more viewpoints and photo stops, at the same price per minute.
How much does the quad bike tour cost?
130€ per quad for the 2h30 tour and 208€ per quad for the 4h tour. Each quad carries up to 2 people. You book online and pay on the day.
Do I need experience or a driving licence?
No off-road experience is needed: you get a full safety briefing and ride with a local guide. The driver needs a valid Category B (car) driving licence.
Can two people share one quad?
Yes. Each quad takes a driver and one passenger, and the price is per quad, so sharing is great value for couples and friends.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, warm clothes, closed-toe shoes and sunglasses. You will get dusty and maybe muddy. Gloves, waterproof pants, waterproof jackets and full body suits can be added when you book.
Can you pick me up from my hotel?
Yes, pick up and drop off is available as an add-on: 50€ from Santana or Machico, 70€ from Santa Cruz and 100€ from Funchal, per group. We confirm the exact time and address after you book.
Where is the meeting point?
Caminho da Chã, Porto da Cruz, Madeira. Free parking is available. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure.
What is the cancellation policy?
